Deepak Shrestha

Deepak Shrestha from Nepal is computer enthusiast, and system designer who loves music and literature.In 2006, Deepak Shrestha completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information System (BCIS) from Pokhara University, Nepal, as well as a Bachelor's in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. Deepak has a Master's degree in Information Systems  from Linnaeus University. He  also holds degree in International Human Rights Law and Economic and Investment Law, to fulfill his desire to contribute in the field of human rights and economy on the global arena.

Deepak Shrestha has worked as a representative of the Information Technology and Society (ITS) of Nobel College, and the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN.) He has actively participated in a number of social development programmes, including an HIV/AIDS awareness programme, a fund-raising programme for the Indian Ocean tsunami and flood victims, a blood donation programme, and an awareness programme on education for children and women.

 In 2004, Deepak was chosen as the best college representative for ITS Nepal, and in 2006, was awarded the prestigious title, ‘Mr. Nobel 2006' for his study achievements and contribution to enhance the well-being of fellow students to the University.He got several modeling offers and appeared product ambassador of some big media houses and magazines. Deepak was involved in the publication of different magazines during his college studies.From 1996-1999, Deepak served as the president of the Junior Red Cross Circle, and from 2003 to 2004, as president of the Youth Red Cross Circle. He also volunteered with People to People and Peace Chapters in Nepal.

Deepak Shrestha has worked at the System Department of the Kumari Bank Limited, Nepal, Cosmic Airlines,Bank of Kathmandu,Nepal from 2005 to 2008. He also has different working experience in the international organizations.In August 2008, Deepak Shrestha was awarded an internship at the United Nations headquarters in New York,which he completed in early 2009.After that he joined in 'Mandamus Human Rights' in Sweden. He has worked at United Nations and visited different UN station during his mission.He has also published several articles in local newspaper.In October 2010,his prestigious book'Maintaining of Quality' was printed in USA and published in Germany and has been selling by Amazon worldwide.Recently he has completed strategic research with Buckman Lab,Belgium in the field of IT Knowledge Management Strategy and published his second book'Knowledge Management Strategy' that is being sold my Amazon.Now he is on researcher at UN and IBM.

He likes Ball Dance,Salsa and Photography.

 

Deepak is motivated to contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.
